Thumbs up and a smile

That is what Dallas got from Doc Healey Monday morning when he looked at her leg!!  The Doc had reserved a procedure room for Tuesday morning and had warned us to make reservations locally for 10 days or so in case he needed to do more work on her leg.  The additional work was not needed - doc was very pleased with the wound site.  He even was able to remove most of the HUGE scab and see beautiful new, pink skin underneath it.

So, Dallas, Kris and Grandpa after wrapping up other random hospital activities are on their way home from the city as I type this!  We decorated the house this past Saturday for the Christmas season and now we can enjoy the holidays while being able to breath with a bit more ease and relaxation!!

The plan for Miss Dallas is now to get her back into school and our new normal routine and life!  She is scheduled to make her return to school just after the holidays end.  Not sure how she will make the adjustments but it will be back to tv off early and lights out instead of the random sleep patterns she has got used to the past 8 months...

As mentioned in prior posts - please feel free to stop in to visit during the holiday season.  So many of you have been so very supportive and helpful.  We would love to share holiday cheer and a memory or 2 with as many as we can.

    Dallas and family,
Merry Christmas and may God continue to bless all of you in the New year to come. Thanks for sharing your story this year! What a wonderful Christmas present...pink skin, working legs, disease remission, holidays at home, school and friends...who needs a Wii or Hanna Montanta shoe? I'm so happy for you. Let's celebrate life this season since it all started with Jesus and His life for ours. I think we all understand this miracle more every day! Congratulations.
