We are home!
All,
We made it home Friday afternoon! I broke down and cried to her oncologist just before discharge last Thursday. Through her entire treatment he has never seen me cry. It's been a long journey and although it seems harder to finish then it was to start, it's time to move on with our lives. Not sure how to do it so I am just going to dive in and keep praying! I have faith that God will direct me.
Dallas is starting to eat and gain some of her energy back. She has a few sessions of physical therapy this week and will be spending the days with her grandparents as I go back to working in the office full time on Monday. We are keeping her out of school until January and then our goal is to have her start back after the holiday break. I will keep logging in and giving a weekly update. We are so happy to hear that you're home!! Dallas, you've had quite an ordeal - you've proven yourself incredibly strong, and your family is amazing. Alex looks forward to seeing your smiling face back in school in January. We'll continue to pray that each day brings you continued strength.
