Discharged tomorrow!
All,
We are supposed to be discharged tomorrow and going home on Friday! We will have her blood work done in the morning as she may need a platelet and blood transfusion before going. They had to slowly work her off of the IV meds today and put her back on the morphine patches. She seems ready, although she mentioned she feels more comfortable here because they take care of her every need. It's sad to think she prefers this place to home. But I imagine if I felt as horrible as she has I would too! In time she will feel more normal and laugh about that statement. Just think about it, she hasn't had any normalcy in almost eight months.
Going to bed. As Dallas would say "good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite, sweet dreams, I love you, I'll miss you and see you tomorrow".
