Please keep praying!
All,
This round has been by far the most challenging. It saddens me to think that most of the children endure the symptoms Dallas is going through for each and every round. Dallas has been quite sick with each round but this one is by far the worse. She has been very blessed! We were admitted into the hospital on Tuesday morning with a fever, severe dehydration and mucusitis. Her throat is so raw from throwing up non-stop that it bleeds thus making it impossible for her to eat. I have debated writing as I didn't wanted to worry you. I am here by her side and can ensure you that she is getting the best possible care. We just have to stay strong and pray for her body to heal.
All of her scans on Monday were clear, just as we had expected. Unfortunately her surgeon feels he needs to re-evaluate the wound/scab over the bone graph and see if it is healing underneath the scab. It's a very large wound and although it is covered with a scab he needs to make sure tissue is properly forming underneath it. If not, he wants to do a third surgery to remove the muscle over the bone graph and use a back muscle in it's place. This once again is not an option. We will AGAIN believe God has another plan and claim nothing else! So in your thoughts and prayer please visualize healthy pink tissue growing underneath the scab.
This will soon end!
Love to all! xoxo
