Last one.....
All,
I am sitting here thinking about the week ahead of me. I dread the days and nights while she is on chemo so I am just counting down my last few hours......
I decided to keep Dallas in the city for the transfusion week as the drive to Syracuse is exhausting. We went twice last week and our car had problems on the way home making it even more of a challenge. I have two more nights in the comfort of my home until we leave for the next fourteen days. This is it though.
I know our lives will now carry a new normalcy which will include monthly chest scans and blood work. I told a dear friend today that you learn to appreciate life in a different way. I no longer want the big house, fancy foreign car, designer clothes and trips to exotic getaways. I long for peace, comfort in knowing my family is well and that we have more memories to create. I cherish every smile, hug and whisper of I love you!
Be well!
Much love,
Mom

I love you all soo much! Thank God the end is in sight. I can't believe how strong you all are to have weathered this soo well. Like I've said before, you made a believer in me and I'm proud to call you all family!

Christine,
You know the Sheryl Crow line "happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have!"? I think you've found an eternal truth about life. I am excited and happy for you guys, proud of Dallas, and want you to know that there is a God out there who knows you by name and loves your little princess more than even you or Bill do. I think it is amazing that you have realized the preciousness of life. I want to thank you for posting your life so all of us could be encourage by your triumph! May God bless you all in the year to come.
