Dallas finally made it home!

Well, after what seems like forever - Dallas finally got to sleep in her own bed last night.  The ladies got home last night after packing up the Ronald McDonald House room and hospital room in the pouring rain and driving the 5 hours ( plus a few extra minutes for the wrong turn thus getting to cross the George Washington 2 times ).

We had Pizza Hut pizza and champagne for dinner!!

It was so great to see Dallas back in her bedroom, she was smiling all night long - her kitty really missed her and laid with her most of the evening.  She had trouble finding her bed - it was loaded with boxes, packages and cards from everyone out there that sent her something and well wishes, she felt like Christmas morning going through all of her mail that accumulated over the last few weeks!  Thank you to all that sent her something, it was most fun for her to open everything and to read all the nice cards!

Dallas will go to get her counts checked today and Friday and then most likely Monday as well.  If they drop too low, we will make a trip to University Hospital in Syracuse for a transfusion.  She does not start the next round of chemo until the 22nd - that gives us all 12 days of much needed "normalcy" - or as close to it as possible!!
