Pray for victory!
All,
Dallas' surgeon came in late last night to advise he wanted to schedule a third surgery. He stated he felt there is a chance the muscle wont heal and he wants to be proactive and schedule to remove her back muscle and start over. This is not an option!!! We need to pray for her muscle to heal. No more surgery. Please continue to pray for Dallas and specifically for the muscle to take and be a viable source of protection for the bone graph. Please keep a clear mental picture of her victory! After he made this proposal Dallas stated we needed to pray and be positive. I concur!
Much love,
Mom

Sweety,
I'm sorry to hear you have to go through this again. I know how difficult it is to keep positive when there are so many unwanted things happening to you.
I always thought the job I do kind of insulated me emotionally from feeling too much. The things I see everyday tend to make us (cops) kind of numb to others problems.
It has amazed me the fellow officers who hardly know me, and definately don't know you, who come into my office to make donations or just to ask how you are doing. Most do so with tears in their eyes. You have touched all of us without even knowing it.
You're special and you will get through this.
I'm not a very religious person but I feel that all the goodwill and prayers have to end up somewhere. That is with you.
This is a nasty problem and the remedy for it is just as nasty. It won't be easy and it won't be fun but you will be fine.
Grandma Margot and I will do everything we can to help you, which isn't much, but you will have to do this on your own.
Chris and Bill I can't imagine being right in the middle of this...I don't think I would do very well.
It was great seeing JP and he has turned into a man you can be proud of.
Will see you in October.
XO
Grandpa Marc

Dallas and family,
Hey, I was praying for you this morning on my way to work and thinking of this story I know in the Bible from Mark 2:1-13. Its about this guy who can't walk and truly believes only God can make him well. I think its awesome that you would ask your friends to pray for you about this next big hurdle you're facing!
In this story, they find out Jesus is teaching and healing in a nearby town. His friends surround him and carry him to the house and when they get to the house where Christ is, there are so many other needy people they can't get close to the one Guy who can help the situation. He and his friends don't give up. They put him up on the roof and pull some tiles off and lower him into the room through the hole.
Now this is where it gets really cool. God loves this guy so much he looks through his obvious, immediate, physical need and gives him MORE than he wanted. Jesus tells him his sins are forgiven! Then after a lesson to those watching and listening he also fixes his legs.
God loves us so much and He wants us to know He's on our side and got plans to fix our situation. Sometimes he answers our prayers exactly...sometimes he gives us more than we could ask for or imagine...sometimes he says NO...and sometimes He's very quiet and it seems like He's not there. Sometimes it seems like parts all of this.
I know you get what this guy went through and I now it seems like there are alot of people in line in front of you, BUT I also know you have friends and family willing to lower you through any hole to put you in the best place possible!
I WILL PRAY--that you see God answer your prayers and that He fixes you. I know He can! I am watching, excited to see what will happen in your life. I WILL pray that God blesses you beyond what you are asking and bigger than your imagination--and that he will fix your immediate and obvious need too!

Dear Dallas and Family,
Hello, we wanted to stop by to send you our prayers and to offer our support. We live in the same city, and are parents of a child with cancer. We have twin daughters' Paige and Nicole, also from the same elementary school as Dallas, now age 14yrs old and are headed off to High School this year, they are also Girl Scouts and heard of Dallas through the support of GS. Nicole was diagnosed 2 years ago, and is 1 year out of treatment, she is now doing very well, but I can relate to many roller-coaster emotions that this journey brings. I want you to know if you need any support please send me an email, nicytaylor@aim.com Nicole's site is www.caringbridge.org/visit/nicolepaluch
We will keep Dallas and your family in our prayers each night. I've found that the support from other family dealing with the same illness helped give us the hope we needed to keep looking forward.
With Love, Penny, Terry, Paige and Nicole Paluch
