Good morning all - 

Dallas had her surgery yesterday.  She went into the OR at noon and the surgery was completed at 9:30pm.  A very long day for all involved...
The surgery went very well.  All of her tissue looked healthy, the replacement bone fit perfect and the plates all attached very well.  The down side is that they were not able to save the growth plate.  This is a disappointment but in the big picture - we will accept it!!

Dallas is resting this morning but craving a grape Gatorade - I think mom finally got the okay to get her one. 
Initial word is she can not put any weight on her leg for 3 months or so, I am sure we will get a more clear picture of what we will be able to do and not to do very soon.

Please keep Dallas in your thoughts & prayers!!  She still has 4 very intensive chemo cycles starting August 18th.
